Cavan Mosque (CICS) was established in 1997 by Dr. Wisal Khan to serve the Muslim community in County Cavan. Initially starting as a small prayer room in the Cavan General Hospital, the society grew and moved into a rented house, where the first Friday prayers were held. Over the years, the society expanded its activities, providing a space for worship, education, and cultural events. CICS has continued to evolve, with several dedicated teams of volunteers contributing to its mission. Today, it remains a vital hub for the Muslim community in Cavan, fostering spiritual growth and cultural exchange.
